Wedding Sponsor: Beehoon Productions Instant Prints Photobooth
- Sponsored Post -
Howdyyy chewyyys! Previously, I blogged about our wedding gatecrash and tea ceremony, followed by our wedding banquet dinner in a separate post. Today, I’m gonna tell you more about another very awesome wedding sponsor of ours! The husband and I were so thrilled because we had been toying with the idea of having an instant prints photobooth set up at our wedding banquet venue for the longest time! :D
Founded in July 2010, Beehoon Productions (米粉制作) specializes in cinematography and photography for weddings, parties and events. No doubt founders of Beehoon Productions, Nigel Tan and Hacktor Chris Wong are barely 3 years into this business, but after looking at their various works, I can truly feel their sincerity through the tremendous effort that they put in, in producing the best memories for their clients. Not forgetting that this duo is young and full of vibrant energy, anything and everything is possible! They have even ventured into underwater wedding photography!
About 1.5 months before our wedding, we met up with Nigel and Hacktor to have a look at the quality and past designs of their instant prints artwork. Basically, there are two sizes to choose from – 4R or card sized prints. Besides the photobooth, Beehoon Productions also offer the “Roaming Photographer” instant prints service whereby the photographers will roam around the reception and banquet to ask for shots.
Of course, we opted for the photobooth because there is a wide variety of cute and fun props that our guests can choose to pose with at the photobooth! These props definitely liven up the photos and also give an extra touch of wackiness!
Beehoon Productions took about 30 minutes to do their setup outside our ballroom at Orchard Parade Hotel and they were kind enough to stay till around 9pm in order to make sure that our guests had a chance at the photobooth. They were also very generous in sponsoring us unlimited 4R prints. At this point you must be wondering what printer they use! Beehoon Productions uses an industrial grade printer with a printing speed of around 12 seconds for each 4R photograph, which means that if you have 5 people in a group shot, it will only take about 1 minute for everyone to receive their instant prints!
My cousins seem to be having a good time at the photobooth!
More cousins! (LOL sorry my creativity in captioning is limited)
The idea is very simple. You queue, pick up as many props as you like, position yourselves properly in front of the backdrop and then strike your best pose for the camera guy! Speaking of backdrop, we chose a white one. There is also a pink and a blue backdrop, but you can only decide on one color. Beehoon Productions also offer, at a top-up, a live projections service whereby images can be viewed instantly while your event or wedding is ongoing.
Hahaha yeah call me bochup but I was simply too lazy to think of a layout design that I want and left everything to Nigel after sending him a few of our wedding photos for him to choose from. Basically, he cropped us out, together with ladder, blackboard, TV, stool and radio. Hahaha. I guess Nigel chose the wooden borders to fit our photo since it had some wooden elements in it. I chose to stay with this design so as not to complicate the overall outlook of the photo. Every customer is entitled to a unique customized border design which I think is really cool!
I have selected some shots to be shared in this post. You will be surprised that as many as eight or more people can fit into the photo booth!
I’m so glad we managed to take a keepsake shot with the Beehoon Productions team who helped out at our wedding banquet. Love them! Do head over http://www.facebook.com/beehoonproductions and view more of their works! And don’t forget to stay connected to us via Facebook and Instagram @missuschewy and @misterchewy :D
The Chewys’ Actual Day Wedding 3 March 2013 Photos and Video
Hihi chewy chewy friends! Sorry ah I know the above a bit distracting but please hear what I have to say. YES! I’m finally able to share our actual day photos and video! Ok that’s all I have to say for now. Before you do anything, please watch the above video first! Just need to click on the play icon but you might need to be patient and wait for it to load. Anyway, it will help to understand the activities which took place in the day better. Hurry and watch it! The husband and I LOVEEEE the video and we have watched it several times! I think if we were to watch it one million times also won’t be sian. Our videographer, Chin of ZX Workshop Photography did such a marvellous job! :D :D :D
I’m gonna share the photos taken during the day of our customary wedding in this post! But hor, I need to warn you that it’s a super photo-heavy post. More than 180 pics I think? :P
Aiya cuz I really love the photos taken by our main photographer Jack and additional photographer Aaron from ZX Workshop Photography so I ended up sharing like 90% of the shots here! Jack was also our PG for our ROM. There will be a part two, and that’s when the banquet dinner photos will be shared :)
The husband and I got together as bf and gf on 26 July 2010. About 3 months later, we applied for a BTO and got a pretty good queue number on our first try! Things kinda fell into place and we held our ROM on 9 September 2011 (09092011) shortly after misterchewy proposed a day before our 11th monthsary in June 2011. We agreed on another nice date 3 March 2013 (03032013) for our customary wedding! :D
Needless to say, we had to wake up really early on this very important day! I couldn’t sleep the night before and ended up tossing in bed till about 11plus. Managed to wake up at 5am to shower and eat breakfast. My breakfast very simple one, just a small piece of kueh cuz I wasn’t hungry.
My makeup artist (MUA), PG Jack and VG Chin reached my place at 6am like what I had told them. All of them got cracking and no time was wasted. I wore pink contact lens on this special day! :P
My bridesmaids arrived at around 6.15 to 6.30am and started preparing the 酸甜苦辣 (sour, sweet, bitter, spicy) concoction for the xiongdis to drink during the later part of the gatecrash!
Vincent is very professional and skillful. I liked my eye makeup and hairstyle! Told him not to bun everything up if not my face would look damn round.
It’s probably more obvious in this pic. Two days before the big day, I dyed my hair red. Some parts are fiery red because of the bleaching that was done earlier when I had my hair dip dyed purple last October.
Haha believe it or not, this super single bed can fit two :P The husband and I were even contemplating on getting this bed size for our future home! LOL then got more space to move around.
Only 4 bridesmaids in this pic because the last one overslept! LOL. Luckily she stays just across the street, so Maureen and Bee went over to knock on her door.
And in the meantime, misterchewy and his groomsmen were running through the programme sheet that the both of us came up with. This was done only at the very last minute and we were quite stressed over it. We tried to be as detailed as possible and sent the sheet to our Jack and our XDJMs for a once-over to familiarize themselves with their respective responsibilities.
Soon, misterchewy and his brothers were ready!
And so were we!
Girl power yeah! Hahaha!
My bridesmaids and their gatecrash weapons. LOL.
Wanna thank my David ah gu and da jiu ma for lending us their Bentley and even got their chauffeur to ferry us around the whole day! Would also like to take this opportunity to thank Steven ah gu and er jiu ma for printing our invitation cards for us!
Setting off to fetch his bride!
Gold from my mum and white gold from my MIL.
“老婆!我来了!” (Wifey! Here I come!) Watching this part of the video really made me LOL.
Task #1: Twister
Task #2: Yoga
Everyone who watched the video said that Kelvin (guy doing yoga on the left) was super cute and funny! :D
A group shot before the guys proceeded upstairs for another round of ‘torturing’ session!
Task #3: 酸甜苦辣
HAHAHA it was damn funny (from what I saw in the video) because the guys “yam seng” really loudly and for damn long la!
Bridesmaids also joined in “YAMMMM! YAM YAM YAM YAMMMMMM!”
Still yam-ing until Maureen very sternly told them, “OK! 够了!喝!” (OK! Enough! Drink up!) and the guys really guai guai finish.
At this point, the girls demanded for their “open door angbao” before the next two tasks could be carried out.
Task #4: Dance to Wonder Girl’s “Nobody Nobody But You”
During our meeting, my bridesmaids and I were thinking of a song to make the guys dance to and they were strongly against Gangnam Style. LOL. I suggested this because it’s like “I want nobody nobody but CHEW!” Geddit? Hahaha :P I must say the guys danced quite well!
Task #5: Retrieve the right key to get past the gate
The husband feeling victorious. LOL.
Reciting his love pledge. He made it very “Ah Boys to Men” pattern. >_< Even shouted "Permission to enter the room, ma'am!" To which I replied, "Permission granted!" LOLOLOL.
Presenting me with his handmade ‘Chanel’ bag. Wahahaha faints.
Thanks to all our wonderful brothers and sisters for being so sporting! :)
My maternal grandma, second aunt and third aunt actually reached my house early in the morning before the gatecrash so that they could watch misterchewy fetch his bride :)
Setting off to misterchewy’s place for tea ceremony.
Some Chinese tradition that my dad had to shelter me with an umbrella till I reached the bridal car.
It was also a Chinese tradition that I had to throw the fan while the car was moving and my brother and to pick it up. He’s behind the lamp post in this pic. This means that I will still return home to visit them. Before the day of our wedding, I joked to my bro that I will make him chase after the car for 5km before throwing the fan. LOL.
Since we were way ahead of time, Jack helped us to take some photographs at the mini garden. Ok I duno what is it called la. Haha.
Tea ceremony commenced immediately and it was basically offering tea to all of our elderly.
We were also offered tea by misterchewy’s brothers and god brother.
So nice of my sisters to be fussing over me the entire day!
HAHAHA this part was damn funny.
Changed into my traditional Chinese wedding dress, otherwise known as kua. I was so happy to be wearing it because it was so comfortable and loose fitting!
Went back to my place for tea ceremony!
And again, we had some time for some photos at the playground :D
Thanks to all my relatives and cousins who took time off to come over to my place!
A shot with my lovely next door Indian Muslim neighbors! We have been neigbors for about 20 years and almost every year without fail, auntie would cook a variety of dishes such as curry chicken, chilli prawns, nasi bryani and rendang mutton, and bake numerous cookies and kueh for us during Hari Raya.
With some of my cousins, nephews and nieces from both my parents’ sides!
Hope you enjoyed this post! Will try to share part two soon! In the meantime, do ‘like’ our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/missuschewy and follow us on Instagram @missuschewy and @misterchewy ok? Cheerios! :D

Hellooooo chewys! Very long never hear my ‘voice’ right? Hahaha. Just got back to work after returning from our honeymoon trip so basically I’m busy clearing hundreds of emails and trying to piece things together. And by the time I get home, I’m like already half dead. Very eager to share our free and easy travel experience around Europe so stay tuned for the upcoming blog posts. The husband and I have a #thechewyshoneymoon hashtag on Instagram so you can check some photos out in the meantime :) On Tuesday night, we went to collect our actual day wedding photos and video from our photographer at Vivocity and we are super satisfied with the PGs’ and VG’s work! Wanna share as much as we can over here but first, let me do a feature on one of our wedding sponsors, ClothingCandy!
Thanks to ClothingCandy, my bridesmaids were each adorned in a beautiful Sky Blue Bridesmaid Dress. I absolutely love this piece even though I didn’t get a chance to wear it. ClothingCandy has a very wide collection of bridesmaid dresses and other cocktail dresses from sizes XS to XXXL. Plus size dresses are at no additional cost! Other than bridesmaid dresses or dresses in general, there are also plenty of shirts, hoodies, pants, etc to shop for, which are affordable, trendy, of great quality and exquisite design. Our Indoor Wedding Photoshoot by Chris Ling Studio + Z Wedding
Hola chewys! Greetings from Switzerland! Hahaha ok la actually I am typing this at home. This scheduled post features only the indoor studio wedding album layouts. It will be an overkill to upload every single photo here! Will post all the shots on Facebook when we return :)
Love story of misterchewy and missuschewy. Enjoy!
We love all the pics! Glad that we chose Chris Ling Studio + Z Wedding. Stay tuned to the next post for our outdoor wedding album layouts!
Mobile Uploads from The Chewys’ Actual Day Wedding!
Hellooooo chewys! Got miss me or not?! Sorry I was missing in action from blogging due to the customary wedding and subsequently work, but I was still somewhat active on Instagram and Facebook! Hehe so next time you know where to ‘look’ for me if you miss me :P By the time you are reading this, misterchewy and I are already in Europe for our long awaited honeymoon. Will be away for 3 weeks and I don’t have time to generate new content here so I am sharing some snap shots from our actual wedding day contributed by our friends! :)
On the day before our wedding, I got Krist to do my nails. Received many compliments!
Feeling very excited in the morning. Self-shot taken when misterchewy and our 5 pairs of xiongdi jiemei were playing the gatecrash games at our void deck.
My bridesmaids were so thoughtful to send me photos every now and then to keep me updated while I was waiting in my room.
In the bridal car to misterchewy’s place.
After the tea ceremony at his place, I changed into my kua (Chinese wedding dress) which was loose fitting and very comfortable. Eh the cheeky boy gave me a ‘Chanel 8.55′ after the gatecrash. LOL.
Was feeling very nervous while we were waiting for our first march in! We chose “From This Moment On” by Shania Twain :)
We were hungry but didn’t have much appetite for the first two courses so we went back to our room to prepare for the 2nd march in. The hubby’s suit, pants, vest and shirt were tailor-made and a gift from me :)
2nd march in was much better and I felt more relaxed! Song was “Unbreakable” by Westlife.
At the end of the banquet, we took a photo with our wonderful xiongdi and jiemei! Thank you everyone! Will be sharing our wedding photos in the next two blog posts! Follow us on Instagram @missuschewy and @misterchewy and also on Facebook as we will be posting photos on the go in Europe :)
Wedding Update: My Bachelorette Party at Zouk
Hello chewys! It’s Friday, like finallyyy! To me, it means just two more days to our big day! Within this week alone, misterchewy and I had so many things to settle because we are really number one procrastinators. Things such as the entire day’s programme, emcee script, photo montage, arranging of guest tables, angbao for the young ones, final gown and suit fitting etc etc etc. Phew! In the meantime, I shall keep everyone updated about my bachelorette party, also known as hens night, which took place at Zouk! :) I got all these photos from Maureen and Bee.
My dear bridesmaids planned the party for me and it was supposed to be a surprise I think. But they asked me to choose either Movida or Zouk when they came over to my place for the manicure session so no more surprise liao. Haha.
We agreed to meet at about 10.30pm outside the club. Me, Adelene, Ying Pei and Bee shared a cab from CCK. The cab auntie was really nice and friendly. She actually told us to take care of ourselves and not drink too much. Hehe :)
Deng deng deng deng! See the props already?
Red furry furry tiara
With matching red butterfly wings
Duno why the butterfly wings were like ‘senget’ the entire night. Me no likey!
Photo with the girls while Ying Pei and Pei Rong went off to get the first round of drinks.
The girls all wore black/blue. All I wanted was to make sure that I was suitably covered and hence I wore stockings because my dress was too short. Hohoho.
There was a one for one promo before 12am so we ended up with 2 jugs of Vodka orange, 2 jugs of Vodka cranberry (which was pretty tasteless), 16 sour plum shots, 4 tequila shots and 4 sex on the beach shots. All in all, it was MAD. Almost fainted at the sight of all the drinks. Lol.
Sour plum shots were yummy!
Someone figured that the best way to finish the drinks fast was to play the number guessing game. This game really very popular leh. Casmin’s hens night also got play.
And for some reason, Pei Rong kept guessing the correct number and I was made to drink! Like 90% of the time leh! >_<
Gloop gloop gloop..
Group shot with the.. ohhhhhh sexay ladays! LOL.
Soon, it was time for the dares. My most dreaded moment!
Somehow, the two Korean guys who had been sitting next to us knew what was going on and very quickly turned to look at me which made things really easy for me. Hahaha!
Ehhh nope, I don’t think their names start with a vowel :P
Ok basically it just went like this throughout the night. Instead of asking or talking to my targets, I went up to them and showed them the tasks that I was supposed to carry out. LOL.
Wah piang! Go where find the tallest man?
You gotta be kidding me. Am I really the tallest? HAHAHA.
The husband saw this photo and asked, “Like that is bear hug meh?” Wah someone very encouraging hor.
Horror or horrors. I just realized that I didn’t take with Pei Rong! How come nobody noticed?!
We decided to call it a night at around 2am which was super early la. And I think we look as though we had not gone in yet :P No drunkard look.
This dude photobombed us and….
All of us were really hungry and we had yummy bangers and mash from the cart outside Zouk!
Thanks to my lovely bridesmaids for the unforgettable party! <3
‘Like’ us on Facebook for more updates! :)
Wedding Update: Gelish Manicure Party for my Bridesmaids
Helloooo chewys! We are counting down the days (less than a week) to our customary wedding! Many friends like to ask me this question, “So how? Wedding coming soon. You must be excited right?” Answer is NO. Really, I’m not excited at all. In fact, having been legally married to misterchewy in September 2011, it feels weird to be preparing for the customary wedding now. Somehow, we feel like 老夫老妻 already. LOLOLOL.
Ok so anyway, I decided to pamper all my bridesmaids with a gelish manicure party recently. Hahaha it wasn’t quite a ‘party’ but it sounds nice so yeah. It was during the CNY period which explains all the goodies lying around! Nom nom nom~
As usual, I got Krist to help mainly because I trust her to do a good job. So far, she was responsible for my nails for my ROM, ROM party and wedding photoshoot.
Ying Pei was the first to reach so Krist worked on her first while we waited for the rest.
Cant remember what they were talking about. Haha.
Maureen spent 3 days making jelly hearts for us! So niceeeee!
Sorry my photo doesnt do justice to Maureen’s jelly hearts. It tasted damn awesome I tell you! I wonder when will I get to eat this again :P
Duno why Pei Rong looked so happy here. LOL.
All my bridesmaids really very serious. Sometimes I wonder who’s the one getting married. Hahaha. Discussion and taking notes in progress!
Maureen’s turn! She also knows Krist.
Bee seemed to be most excited about the manicure party. Hehe.
Playing with her Samsung Galaxy camera.
Adelene offered to be the last since she wasn’t rushing off to anywhere else. Yup at this point a couple of them had already left.
Ying Pei’s
Pei Rong’s
Maureen’s
Bee’s
Adelene’s
Me and Krist :)
Ok! Wait for my next post! Either this week or next ;)

The hubby treated them to dinner at Saveur which is a very popular French restaurant at Bugis. The food photos were taken by misterchewy himself. Not I want to praise my own husband but they are not bad considering I’m usually the one who takes the photos! :P Oh ok he just told me he can do an introduction on his xiongdis.
