Over the weekend, my primary school bestie gave me my long overdue birthday treat! More than 3 months from my birthday in July! :O
I went back to office to clear some work on Saturday afternoon and then cabbed down together with misterchewy to meet Adelene and Alvin in the evening. Dinner was at KPO Cafe Bar along Killiney Road! KPO stands for Killiney Post Office. I had been here more than 3 years ago and the brunch was not bad. Didn’t review this place back then as this blog wasn’t born yet. Haha.
Very chill ambience, complete with dim lighting and music in the background.
We ordered the Straight Cut Fries ($11) because it was stated on the menu that the fries are infused with truffle oil. We were able to detect hints of truffle but it’s actually really mild. Not fantastic at all. Wouldn’t recommend this.
Pizza Yorkshire ($29) was paper thin and was topped with slices of yorkshire pork and mozzarella cheese.
Fish and Chips ($23)
Prawn Pasta ($24)
I know I’m weird but I was really keen on trying the KPO Hokkien Mee ($15). To my surprise, they actually do it quite well! There were also bits of fried pork lard in it. I love my fried hokkien mee swimming with gravy and this is exactly what I wanted. Not forgetting the superb sambal chilli that came with it.
Thanks bestie for the treat! 😀

There’s some great looking food there. The straight cut fries look amazing and so does the prawn pasta and your friend washing it down with a Wiessbier? You definitely get to eat at some wonderful places 🙂
Heh.. You should come to Singapore! Plenty of good food around!
