Chewy Charles invited me over to his house for dinner after our trip to the zoo zoo zoo! It was great fun even though it rained halfway through and we had to seek shelter for more than an hour.

This is the menu that Chef Chewy painstakingly designed 🙂 I brought it home as a souvenir.

Our starter – Garden Salad.

Haha oops. Ever ready for the camera even in the midst of frying.

Not included in the menu. Chef Chewy’s mum helped to fry the french fries.

Sides – Fried Scallop Rolls.

Sides – Salmon Cheese sticks and Chicken Karaage.

Main course – Sausage and Mushroom Spaghetti.

We were too full in the end so we skipped having durian. *Burp*
Hehe thanks Chef Chewy for the invite and to his family for hosting this dinner! Cook more often for me in future! 😛
Sadly, I cannot really cook. Anyone has simple recipes for me so that I can whip up something too? 😀

Tetsu Japanese Restaurant: A Pictorial

DSC_9058com

Hello dear readers, this is my first time posting a pictorial on my blog. I have always wanted to do something like this when I don’t have the time to do a review but often times, I cannot help but feel that my photos are clearly not up to standard and hence, just posting photos won’t do.

Recently, I have developed an even stronger interest in photography and dabbled a bit with my cousin’s Canon 400d and my good friend’s Nikon D70s. I could even sense the excitement from fellow food bloggers when I mentioned on twitter that I am thinking of getting a dslr for myself soon.

All the photos in Tetsu Japanese Restaurant are taken with a Nikon D70s and Nikon AF-S DX 18-135 mm lens. Douzo yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

Please feel free to give me your comments about my photos. Or perhaps, which photo you like best, or dislike 🙁 and why. This is my first real attempt with a dslr in food photography. Your contribution is greatly appreciated! Cheers! 🙂
