The Chewys’ Valentine’s Day 2017

A32A1113

The hubs and I celebrated our 7th Valentine’s Day together this year! We didn’t celebrate on the actual day and instead, we took leave from work on Friday that same week to have lunch together. It was a good move because we avoided the ridiculous prices that most restaurants were charging for their Vday set menu and also every other couple who were celebrating the occasion! I suggested having lunch at CreatureS because I wanted to try the food there for the longest time and it was a good opportunity to do so without the kids! We ordered two dishes from the Sharing menu and two other Mains. Food was quite good! The sharing items were way better than the mains though.

Hainanese Chicken Rice Roll ($20)

Kong Ba Pau ($22)

A32A1099

Garden and Crab Risotto ($34)

A32A1109

Rendang Lamb Shank ($34)

After our meal, we adjourned to Foxhole Café for dessert! Not that we were not full. I just wanted to check out this pretty café!

Just a simple update on our Valentine’s Day celebration! 🙂 Have a great week!

Jara Petit Baby Shower Dessert Table Set Up

A32A9015

Another milestone achieved! Baby Cayla is turning one month old on 9 September, which happens to be misterchewy’s birthday, as well as our ROM anniversary! Due to Chinese traditions, people usually hold a full month party a little before a newborn actually turns a month old, and not after. Since it had to be on a weekend, we held a small party for Mini misschewy last Sunday at Warren Golf and Country Club. Really appreciate all the sponsors who have stepped forward after I announced my pregnancy to the whole wide world. LOL. One of them are the very sweet girls, Jia Hui and Cara from Jara Petit, who contacted me even before I delivered! I blogged about their Baby Shower Packages (Cheesecups) before and they have expanded their menu ever since!

A32A8923

We had a bigger venue this time, so we opted for a Dessert Table Set Up since it will liven up the party! The dessert table can be customised to individual’s preferences and is suitable for baby showers, weddings and parties of 30 persons and above. Ours was a Dessert Table for 30 pax ($330) which includes 30 assorted Cheesecups, 15 assorted Cheesecake Jars, 1 Classic Mini Whole Cheesecake and 20 customised toppers. Price is inclusive of decorations, set up and collection. You can also add on red eggs and ang ku kueh at a fee. Jara Petit also caters for 50, 80 and 100 pax.

A32A8948

TADAH!! This is the completed look of our dessert table! We ordered the balloons elsewhere and the frames with our photographs were decorated by my mum. I re-used the name banner which I ordered for Cayla’s newborn shoot. If you wanna know more, just go to my Instagram or drop me an email la. Haha. Everything else was from Jara Petit! Ok la except for the table and gold skirting which were provided by the club. I wanted the theme of the dessert table to revolve around Donutella, a Tokidoki character, and the decorations impressed me! Too cute for words!

A32A8963

A32A9116-001

This is Donutella. She’s so cute that she deserves a solo shot. LOL. Many of my friends asked if this is Chanelle’s favorite cartoon character. No la not hers but her mummy’s favorite character. For now. Hahaha.

A32A8951-001

Do you know that the secret to Jara Petit’s success lies in the fact that their Cheesecups are hand-baked daily, using only premium cream cheese and fresh ingredients? Quality is definitely not compromised here. Also, there isn’t any preservatives or artificial flavouring in their baked goodies. As Jara Petit’s Cheesecups do not contain gelatine or pork derived ingredients, they are suitable for vegetarians and Muslims as well.

A32A8959

Jara Petit’s Cheesecups are made up of three layers – the wheatmeal biscuit crust, cheesecake and toppings, and the flavours are specially created to suit our local tastebuds. They are now available in as many as TEN awesome flavours – Classic, Blueberry, Lemon, Durian, Matcha, Strawberry, Cookies & Cream, Banoffee, Lavender and Double Chocolate! To avoid messy fingers, small little plastic spoons are provided. How thoughtful!

A32A9081

A32A8952-001

These were all the different flavours of Cheesecups and Cheesecake Jars that were available at Cayla’s full month party, which is basically all ten flavours that Jara Petit currently offers. You don’t have to choose all flavours, can even just stick to durian flavour for instance, if you are a huge durian lover!

A32A8960

Only the Classic Mini Whole Cheesecake is offered for the dessert table package. However, if you are keen to try their cheesecakes, the Floral Wreath Cheesecake and Paddlepop Cheesecake sure look interesting! Apart from round shape, Jara Petit’s cheesecakes come in sweetheart shape too! The mini cheesecakes are rich in texture and light in flavour; definitely one of the best in Singapore!

A32A8964

The Cheesecake Jars were also a hit with both the adults and children. These are deconstructed cheesecakes made of alternating layers of cheese, crushed cookies and assorted toppings such as Milo, Smores, Mocha and Peach. If you are eating it layer by layer, you are doing it all wrong! The different textures of these layers complement each other perfectly, so yes, do-nut be shy and dig in through the layers using the little plastic spoon!

A32A8935

These Cheesecake Jars also make great gifts because they are so convenient to carry around!

A32A8954

Apart from Dessert Table Set Up, Jara Petit also offers Cheesecups and Cheesecake Jars packages for various occasions. For more info, do visit Jara Petit’s website. Jara Petit’s physical shop is located at Dhoby Ghaut Xchange, near exit B of the MRT Station.

Baby Cayla’s Birth Story – 9 August 2016

P8120006

Chewy Junior #2 is finally here! Our second princess was born on 9 August 2016, which makes her a National Day baby. Just like her elder sister, Baby Cayla was also delivered on a CHEWSDAY (Tuesday lol) and is a 40w5d baby. Amazing, isn’t it? Many people told me that I might deliver earlier since this is my second child. On the contrary, I worked through 40 weeks and 3 days of pregnancy. My last day of work was on 5 August, Friday, and I was joking to my colleagues that I hope the situation would be exactly the same as two years ago. Last day of work on Friday, enjoy Saturday and Sunday, rest at home on Monday, and deliver on Tuesday. Only difference is that it would be extra special because of National Day. My wish came true!

A32A8741

When I was resting at home on Monday, I was wondering if there is even a possibility of delivering the next day because I didn’t feel anything at all. Knowing that lying down all day wouldn’t help, I decided to exercise as a natural way of inducing labour. I went to wash toilet! LOL. But not very hardcore kind la. Still no feeling. When the hubs came home from work, I told him, “Aiya until now no feeling leh. So sad. Confirm no chance to be the first National Day baby liao”. Hahaha XD Machiam I super patriotic kind.

A32A8744

The hubs went to bed early but I watched Korean drama until 3am. Then I went to sleep. At around 4am, I felt warm water gush out from you-know-where and I went O_O !!! I didn’t expect my water bag to burst at home because for my first pregnancy, my gynae burst my water bag for me. Initially, I was shocked, and then “National Day baby, here I come!” Hahaha siao I know. I woke the hubs up, “Eh! Zhihao! My water bag burst leh!” He jumped out of bed. I was quite calm on the other hand. Told him to switch on the water heater for me because I want to take a shower and wash my hair first! I think I took too long because he was waiting outside the bathroom and told me not to shower for too long. I even blow dried my hair before we made our way to Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Reached at around 5.30am and went straight to the Admissions counter. Upon knowing that my water bag had burst, the staff told me to sit on the wheelchair, much to my bewilderment. “NO NO I don’t need a wheelchair..!” But of course, I was being wheeled to the delivery ward after the staff said, “Mam, because your water bag has burst. Don’t worry, there’s nobody around at this hour to see you in a wheelchair.”

A32A8750

Got changed and a couple of nurses prepped me up. Felt a bit of contractions coming in and the intensity grew a little as time passed. Dr Chia Yee Tien, my gynae since my first pregnancy, arrived close to 9am and carried out the vaginal examination. Shall spare you the details but I knew something was amiss from the tone of Dr Chia’s voice as she was speaking to the nurses. Dr Chia said my water bag did not burst fully and instead of baby’s head, she felt baby’s fingers instead. This meant that baby was in a transverse-lie position, which is the most dangerous position before delivery. Dr Chia tried to turn the baby but baby was too high up. I was already panicking and screaming in pain. Both Dr Chia and another nurse pressed hard on my belly, trying to shift baby’s position but in the end, if I’m not wrong, the umbilical cord kinda blocked the delivery pathway too. Ok to cut the long story short, I had to be wheeled into the operating theatre for an emergency caesarian section. There was quite a bit of shouting going on and I nearly broke down. To make matters worse, the hubs wasn’t around because he had stepped out to buy some drinks. I reached out for my iPhone underneath the pillow and sobbed, “Where are you? I’m going for emergency caesarian now..!” I was so traumatised by the sudden turn of events that I started to shake uncontrollably. An anaesthetist arrived and he assured me that I will be alright. I was given anaesthesia to inhale and then I went out like a light.

A32A8757

When I regained my consciousness, my eyelids were very heavy and I had difficulty opening my eyes. I could only hear what was going on around me and I knew I was being wheeled somewhere. A male and a female, presumably nurses, carried and shoved me onto another bed. I cried out in pain because the area where I was operated upon really hurt! I was groggy and I remembered being super whiny about the pain. I could hear the hubs talking to me and holding my hands but I couldn’t really open my eyes for a while.. I felt cold and sleepy. After the anaesthesia wore off, the hubs showed me a couple of photos he took of Cayla when she was out of the OT.

A32A8760

Oh my! Cayla looks so much like her jiejie at birth! Hahaha. I pointed to the inhaler thingy and the hubs explained that Cayla was given some oxygen.

A32A8763

Cayla was 3.38kg and 52cm at birth. Very slightly bigger than her jiejie by 0.02kg and 1cm! Can’t believe they are so similar already!

IMG_7561

Glad we bought the Singapore flag and managed to put it to good use! Never waste our 90 cents lol. And luckily I didn’t forget to bring this milestone card from Toddley Thoughts along!

IMG_7716

Chanelle jiejie came to visit!

A32A8786

When we asked Chanelle if she wanted to carry meimei, her eyes lit up and her hands were outstretched, ready to carry Cayla.

A32A8787

A big sisterly hug.

A32A8788

I was really touched when I saw how lovingly jiejie was gazing at meimei.

A32A8795

Another big hug because I love you so much!

A32A8798

Well, it looks as though jiejie is ready to kick the arse of those who bully meimei. Haha let’s hope there’s no need for that.

Rakuichi Japanese Restaurant at Dempsey Hill

IMG_6967

There is a possibility that I might go into labour on my birthday, so my in-laws and family celebrated my birthday in advance over the weekend. I had dinner with my family at Raikuichi Japanese Restaurant at Dempsey Hill on Sunday and decided to take some photos to share here because their menu is pretty extensive. I have dined at Rakuichi on a number of occasions, for lunch and dinner but mostly at the Far East Shopping Centre restaurant. I usually order their lunch or dinner sets.

P7248666

Tuna salad appetizer.

P7248668

We ordered four different dinner sets except for my mum who doesnt take raw food, and the sashimi was placed together and served to us for sharing. There were only two types of raw fish.

Didn’t take any photos of my brother’s mini course as the dishes were not served together and I was too busy eating already. Lol. As usual, I’m pretty satisfied with the Japanese food standard at Rakuichi. Have yet to visit their two other branches at Oasia Hotel and GreenWich V. Rainbow cake from parents while the fruits and ice cream platter was on the house.

When we were looking for a parking lot, I knew I just had to take an OOTD with this Ben & Jerry’s ice cream van to match my Rainbow Printed Nursing Dress from Jump Eat Cry! Chewy Junior #2 is on the way!

A32A7505

YES WE ARE PREGNANT!! 😀 We have been keeping this a secret for the longest time!
This piece of good news totally caught us by surprise last year because misterchewy and I weren’t planning for a second child so soon as we wanted to wait till Chanelle is slightly older. However, what has happened has happened, and there’s no turning back lol. I have always wanted to have at least two kids by 30 but didn’t have the courage to do so. I guess it’s fated! 🙂 I’m currently in my third trimester and will be popping sometime in August! We are keeping baby’s gender a surprise for now! 😉 As with my first pregnancy, Chewy Junior #2 has been pretty kind to me and I’m constantly in high spirits, even at work. Haha! During my first trimester, I experienced only very mild morning sickness but I was extremely lethargic especially during the first 6 weeks when I didn’t know I am pregnant! It’s weird that I still do not have any weird or strong cravings, just the occasional fast food perhaps. I’m thankful for being pregnant because I can indulge in ice cream before bedtime without any guilt! LOL. You should check out our fridge! We have like 4 tubs and 2 boxes of ice cream!

P5147645

I was about 5 months pregnant when we were in Japan, and it wasn’t the case that I wasn’t really showing yet. The thick layers of clothing helped to conceal my baby bump a little 😛 Here’s a clearer recent photo of 3 plus 1! 🙂 It feels really surreal that misterchewy and I are gonna be new parents all over again soon! Little misschewy is equally excited because we told her she’s gonna be a jie jie! Well, WE LOVE KIDS!! *Throws confetti and sprinkles baby dust* 😀

Traditional English Afternoon Tea at The Landing Point, The Fullerton Bay Hotel

P5017267

The Landing Point’s Afternoon Tea Set at The Fullerton Bay Hotel

Savour a freshly-prepared assortment of English scones, finger sandwiches, delicate pastries and tempting sweets accompanied with a selection of fine teas and coffees.

P5017332

We had a simple pre-Mother’s Day celebration on Labour Day last week! I just felt like having afternoon tea and began to search for places that serve refillable high tea sets. It didn’t take me long to decide on The Landing Point at The Fullerton Bay Hotel and I proceeded to make reservations via email.

P5017334

We passed by The Landing Point once, but that was an awfully long time ago. Really like the atmosphere and boy, was I glad to be back! For a good view overlooking Marina Bay Sands, you may opt for the alfresco spots or indoor bar seats by the full-length glass windows. However, neither of these were suitable for us because smoking is allowed outdoors and the indoor bar seats weren’t comfortable enough for us to enjoy our high tea in a relaxed manner (yes we tested before switching to the sofa seats lol).

P5017263

Before our afternoon tea set was brought to our table, we skimmed through the menu and I thought that the Magic Moment Tea by TWG sounds lovely. The hubs, on the other hand, went for his default choice, the Moroccan Mint Tea.

P5017326

Little misschewy is no stranger to afternoon tea but it was her first time having afternoon tea in Singapore! I clearly remember that she loved the scones we had at InterContinental Hong Kong last year.

P5017265-001

For afternoon tea on weekends at The Landing Point, there are two seatings and we chose the first, which is from 12.30pm to 3pm. Pretty reasonable, I would say. More than 2 hours of nibbles and tea should keep our bellies happy!

P5017290-001

I have a preference for afternoon tea served on a two or three-tier stand because it makes everything look so delicate and dainty! Not forgetting, photogenic! Hahaha.

P5017270

P5017296

Apart from the afternoon tea set, we were also served warm scones with clotted cream and berry jam. The hubs had the plain scone while I chose the raisin scone. They were crumbly on the outside and fluffy on the inside! You can request for more if you can’t get enough of them!

P5017294

Little misschewy was equally excited and started to request for certain items that caught her eye.

P5017288

Salted Chocolate Caramel Tart, Red Velvet with Cream Frosting and Fruit Cake

P5017311

We were highly amused when she pointed at the Red Velvet with Cream Frosting and said, “I want baa baa sheep!” Well, it does kinda look like a sheep. Shaun the Sheep maybe? LOL. So this is her devouring the ‘sheep’s head’, I suppose!

P5017322

P5017282

Strawberry Tart, Chocolate Éclair, Lemon Tart

P5017299

Most of the items that Little misschewy wanted were from the sweets selection but they turned out to be way too sour for her! Strawberry tart was so sour that she dropped the strawberry without hesitation.

P5017300

Oh dear, the lemon tart was also very sour! Hahaha.

P5017292

Canelé and Pistachio Madeline

P5017275

Although we have a sweet tooth, we found ourselves requesting for most of the savouries to be replenished, rather than the sweets. The Landing Point’s Afternoon Tea Set is available daily and is priced at $45++ per adult and $22++ per child (6-11 years old). Price includes free flow coffee and tea. Redemption of car park coupons is only applicable for diners after 6pm for a la carte dinner, and weekends for having afternoon tea.

Valentine’s Day Celebration 2016 @ Luke’s Oyster Bar & Chop House, Gemmill Lane

P2137278

Helloooo! We are back with a short update on how we spent Valentine’s Day this year! Since it coincided with 人日 and Chanelle also has music classes on Sundays, misterchewy and I decided to celebrate the occasion a day earlier.

P2137264

A week before, I texted the hubs while at work that I wanted to try the lobster roll at Luke’s Oyster Bar & Chop House for our Valentine’s Day celebration, to which he replied, “Ok! Your call!” I bet he was secretly relieved that he was off the hook for being spared the responsibility and possibly, pressure, of having to search for a suitable lunch or dinner venue. Hehe. We opted for lunch because the lobster roll is only available during lunch and not dinner!

P2137277

P2137267

Our complimentary starter of mini corn bread served with homemade butter that was sprinkled with paprika was warm and crumbly.

P2137269

We indulged in Half Dozen Oysters ($48) from Wellfleet, Marion Port and Katama Bay, which were featured on the ‘Special’ signboard. Our least favorite were the Wellfleet oysters as they were considerably less meaty and the taste was not as robust. I loved the Katama Bay oysters the most for its briny flavor which was a little too strong for misterchewy’s liking and he preferred the Marion Port oysters. We didn’t try the champagne vinegar that came with the oysters as we felt that just a squeeze of lemon juice was good enough!

P2137271

P2137287

We also ordered another side dish to share. The Lobster Mac & Cheese ($26) was interestingly topped with some crushed Ritz pretzels.

P2137288

The macaroni was fairly al dente and the sauce was of a cheesy, creamy consistency. We found a few chunks of lobster meat and felt that this dish was pretty mediocre. Totally no wow factor there.

P2137290

The husband had his Lamb Chops ($82) cooked medium. Although a little on the salty side, the well-marinated lamb chops were remarkably juicy and tender, with a wonderful smokey flavor.

P2137284

I wasn’t exactly impressed by the size of my Lobster Roll ($48) for the price that we paid. But hey, at least it was quite well-endowed. Lol. To reiterate, the lobster roll is only featured on their lunch menu. I didn’t like that the bun was soft and would certainly have preferred it to be a little more toasted and crusty. The steamed lobster chunks with homemade aioli were firm and tasted buttery sweet.

P2137293

Our total bill came up to about $240 after taxes.

P2137298

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! Stay connected with us on Facebook www.facebook.com/missuschewy and on Instagram @missuschewy, @misterchewy and @little_miss_chewy 🙂

Chinese New Year 2016

chanelle cny 2016

Happy Year of the Monkey, everyone! Psst.. I’m typing this post in the living room at 8 in the morning while misterchewy and Little misschewy are still asleep. I actually woke up at around 7am, no thanks to a toddler who kept whining for milk. So now that I’m wide awake and can’t get back to sleep, I decided to sterilize all the milk bottles and dump our load of bedsheet into the washing machine. Moving into our own place has kept us very occupied with nothing but household chores everyday! LOL! Even the simple task of folding clothes can take up quite a bit of your time and by the time we are done with everything, it’s time for bed. Haha!

chewys cny 2016

The hubs and I felt that the CNY atmosphere is somehow lacking this year.. Perhaps we should place some pussy willows around the house and blast CNY music next year la! But this year’s CNY is more enjoyable because Little misschewy is a toddler now and never fails to make us laugh with her silly antics! Here’s a photo of us on the first day of CNY. It just so happened that we were color coordinated! I wanted to wear something red or yellow this year but I ended up with dark colors when shopping on Zalora. See! Really no time to even shop outside. Haha. Online shopping is too convenient! 😛 Ok, gotta go iron clothes now. Tata! 😀

The Chewys’ Family Trip to Bangkok Day Four: Art in Paradise Museum, Unicorn Cafe, Alpaca View Farm & Cuisine and Chatuchak Weekend Market

IMG_4875

Sawadee ka~~! I realized I made a mistake in my previous blog post. This isn’t my final update on our Bangkok trip because there’s still the last day of our trip but it’s gonna be a short and sweet concluding post, I promise! It was my birthday on our fourth day in Bangkok so needless to say, I was the Queen for the day! Lololol. We were dressed in my favorite colors, white and light blue! 😀 Here’s a quick wefie before we head out for the day! Wheeee!

As we were early for our visit to Art in Paradise, we went for breakfast at PunThai Coffee at a shopping centre nearby.

Blogged about Art in Paradise museum separately because there are just too many photos to share. If you are keen, you may click here to read more about our experience!

P7310782

After endless posing for shots at Art in Paradise museum, we took a cab to Unicorn Cafe! It’s the only place that I shortlisted for my birthday cake!

Thanks to Little misschewy’s godma’s recommendation, we specially made a trip to Alpaca View Farm and Cuisine at Ladprao. The place is situated up north, quite close to Chatukchak I would say. If you wanna head there, plan these two places within the same day yeah!

We chose to have our dinner indoors so that we could escape from the heat. For some strange reason which I can’t recall, we ordered fruit smoothies instead of beer. Haha.

We tried the Pork Knuckle and to our surprise, it was really delicious! Damn, we should have ordered beer to go with it. It would be heavenly! The pieces of pork knuckle was crispy on the outside, yet wonderfully tender on the inside!

Doing a taste test on the fries to determine if it’s too salty for the little one.

Hehe Little misschewy was busy munching on her fries! She was wearing the dress that her godma Mag bought for her in Hua Hin!

Since the night was still young, we hailed a cab to Chatuchak to see if it really opens on Friday night! Turns out to be true!

P7310847

Not all the stalls were open though but it was quite good already I suppose.

Only bought a few souvenirs for friends and colleagues. Didn’t buy any clothes because we didn’t see anything that we liked 🙁

First time eating coconut ice cream! This wasn’t from the ‘legit’ stall because we couldn’t find it when we were there. I guess the stall only operates on Saturdays and Sundays. This was also quite good la!

P7310851

Little misschewy fell asleep in the midst of all our coconut ice cream excitement. Hahaha. Hope you guys enjoyed this post!

Pince & Pints Singapore Food Review

P9092054

Pince & Pints officially opened in July last year and refusing to jump onto the bandwagon like everyone else, here I am reviewing this lobster bar at Duxton Road more than a year later. LOL kidding. Truth is, we weren’t invited for any tasting (it’s ok la we can afford to pay hahaha) and this place doesn’t take in any reservations. We actually swung by Pince & Pints last year with two other friends but were told that the waiting time was estimated to be about 2 hours. Ridiculous or not? Anyway, Pince & Pints will be opening up a second level next month, which means more seats for everyone and shorter waiting time!

P9092053

The hubs had always wanted to visit Pince & Pints, and given that our agenda was to celebrate his birthday, I was obliged to make him happy. Hahaha. Of course, we are still bummed out by the fact that we didn’t manage to try Burger & Lobster when we went to London for our Europe honeymoon trip in 2013. It was depressing because we specially made a trip to Burger & Lobster three nights in a row. Sad story but let’s not go into it.

P9092056

After work, we wasted no time and chionged to Duxton Road. The place was relatively empty before 7pm and we were ushered to the second table nearest the entrance. There were only 4 items on the menu – namely Live Whole Lobster (Steamed or Grilled), Chili Lobster with Mantou and The Lobster Roll, all priced at $58++. When we visited, the new Truffle Lobster Roll ($68++) had not been launched yet which was a pity because WE LOVE TRUFFLES.

My date for the night! 🙂

P9092067

When the servers offer you these aprons (or are they bibs?), do not turn them down! Eating the lobsters, especially if you order the chili lobster, can be a very messy affair 😉

P9092071

The hubs initially wanted to order the Live Whole Lobster but he changed his mind and chose the Chili Lobster with Mantou upon knowing that I wanted that too. More variety for the blog mah! LOL. Very noble ah, misterchewy 😛

P9092073

I wish they would come up with a black pepper lobster instead because I’m not the biggest fan of our Singapore style chili sauce. The hubs offered me half of his Chili lobster and surprisingly, the sauce wasn’t as crappy as what I had expected. Pince & Pint’s special chili sauce recipe uses ingredients like roma tomatoes, ginger, lemon grass, garlic and egg. The sauce was full-bodied and tasted a little spicy. Of course, this played an excellent supporting role to the star which was the freshly flown in lobster from North America. Firm, succulent and meaty best describe the lobster we had!

P9092076

I was trying to decide if I should opt for the steamed or grilled version of the Live Whole Lobster and went with the latter. Served with mesclun salad, sour cherry, balsamic dressing, shoestring fries and herbed butter sauce, this dish was truly a beauty waiting to be photographed from all angles. No I’m just kidding because more than half the kitchen staff would look amused. #truestory 😛

P9092078-tile

I absolutely love how the lobster was grilled to perfection! It was still chunky and juicy, plus the natural sweetness of the lobster really shined through. Paired with the herbed butter sauce, the taste of the grilled lobster was totally divine. My only gripe, however, was that my lobster had giu chwee (shrunk in size)! There was significantly lesser meat than what we had for the Chili lobster. Maybe the steamed lobster would have been a better choice!

P9092060

I rarely say this but service was attentive and top notch. Plates were changed, water was refilled, wet tissue packets were given out, all on a very prompt basis without us even having to ask!
Will we ever be back? Oh yes we will jio all our friends! Stay connected with us on Facebook www.facebook.com/missuschewy and on Instagram @missuschewy and @misterchewy 🙂
