Hope the long weekend had been a fantabulous one for all of you! Anybody took MC yesterday or even today? LOL. Ok jokes aside, I have decided to let this post jump queue because misterchewy planned a trip to Resorts World Sentosa S.E.A Aquarium on Christmas Eve for the both of us and I just want to share our experience with all of you! π
We were kinda putting things to the very last minute and good thing misterchewy suggested visiting the world’s largest oceanarium! He booked 1 day passes at $29 per adult the day before but the queue to board the monorail was madness!
Well, good things are worth the wait right? Hahaha. Omgee we were so so so excited! π I was totally looking forward to this because my last time being so close to marine life is at least two years ago, when I last dived at Krabi. Ok la this one is different but still quite close. I used to keep a dive blog! Haha stopped updating in 2009 π My dream is to go scuba diving with misterchewy one day! I know he is reading this. π
Yay! The Chewys’ Christmas Eve date at RWS S.E.A Aquarium begins! :))
Shipwreck! I wonder where did this come from? Don’t think they purposely sank a ship just for this..
This is totally cool stuff! Brings back fond memories of Underwater World too! π
Ok I lazy liao. Shall let the photos do the talking :PPP
There was also a horseshoe crab in this tank which was totally cute. I was doing a half squat half kneel while taking photos when this little boy screamed, “HORSESHOE CRAB!” and he climbed and trampled over me. >_< Good thing he was really adorable so I didn't mind.
I learned through diving that we should not use flash photography when shooting seahorse!
Pretty interactive corner which I think kids will love. Look at the little boy next to me. He has a camera strapped to his forehead!
Not sure if it’s appropriate but we overheard this couple saying that they were hungry just by looking at this huge fish. -_-
The hubs said that this reminded him of a particular Pokemon. I think I know which but I don’t know its name.
Cute and bouncy looking jellyfish!
We were awestruck by the magnificent marine life before us! It was definitely a very spectacular display and many people just sat and camped in front of the viewing gallery.
Heh heh I was famished but not craving for any kinda fish in particular! Everyone was giving a $5 voucher because not all of the fishes had been transported to the S.E.A Aquarium so I’m guessing this voucher thingy will be temporary. I got a tuna and egg mayo focaccia sandwich and a bottle of green tea to satisfy my hunger! Not a fan of ham so I chose tuna π
If you are feeling a little more extravagant, you can head to the Ocean Restaurant! They serve sustainable seafood π
Continuing with the rest of our tour!
I have seen this moray eel a number of times when I went diving! Yes it’s quite scary and I have to control my buoyancy well so that I don’t crash into it. >_<
You may choose to have your photo taken at the entrance against a plain backdrop and collect (plus pay for) it at the end of the tour! There’s a standard template for the photos.
Souvenirs and soft toys for everyone! Nothing caught my eye. Maybe I’m really too old for this. LOL.
Heh heh. So what do you guys think? Worth the $29 per person or not? Somemore got $5 voucher. LOL. The Chewys had a pretty mind-blowing experience at Resorts World Sentosa S.E.A. Aquarium and we believe people of all ages will love it as much as we did! π Not sure if I have the time or energy to do a summary of 2012 blog post so this could be our last post of the year! Happy New Year in advance! π
