Hello chewys! Guess what I found! These photos were taken in 2011 during Christmas time. LOL. Can’t believe that I clean forgot about them. Anywayyy if my memory serves me well (ok contradicting I know), misterchewy took me out for dinner on a weekday after work!
Prior to meeting me, misterchewy was googling on where to go and out of the handful of places that we had shortlisted, we decided to check out Tims Restaurant and Cafe! With some help from the GPS, we managed to arrive at the cafe which is located within the HDB heartland of Toa Payoh. Hmm.. Nepalese cuisine sounds pretty exotic doesn’t it? 😛
Yes! Christmas is around the corner! Hahahaha. Ok la this will be a pictorial post with short descriptions but I can tell you that the food is really good. Apart from that, prices are wallet-friendly. Also, no GST and no service charge! Tims is definitely worth a visit 🙂
If you think that this dish is named Momo ($3.80 for 5) beacuse it sounds cute, no you are wrong. Well, that was what I thought initially! When we asked for recommendations, the service staff told us to give these Nepalese dumplings a try. They kinda resemble Chinese xiao long bao right?
I had the Braised Lamb Shank ($16.50) which was very flavorful and fall off the bone tender.
The husband’s Rack of Lamb ($15). Really cheap! Where to find?!
